Travel RN – Cath Lab (Level IV) | 13 Weeks | Rochester, NY

Start Date : September 15, 2025

Shift : 3x12s or 4x10s per week (based on unit needs and RN availability)

Shift Hours : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (4x10s) or 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (3x12s)

Schedule Includes : Weekends , Holidays , On-Call , Callback , Charge per unit requirements

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Location : Rochester, NY

Unit Type : Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Care Setting : Acute, Interventional Cardiology

Position Overview :

Join a renowned Cardiac Cath and EP Lab team providing high-acuity care for both adult and pediatric patients in one of Upstate New York’s leading medical centers. This Level IV RN role supports inpatient and outpatient procedures, with advanced interventions and collaboration across nursing and CVT roles.

Key Responsibilities :

Circulate and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Administer moderate sedation , monitor vitals and dysrhythmias

Provide critical care decision-making during high-risk cardiac procedures

Collaborate in emergency responses and post-procedural stabilization

Participate in on-call rotation , including late days, nights, weekends, holidays

Required Experience :

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

Experience with all of the following required :

TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman

Right & Left Heart Caths, PCI, CTO, Pericardiocentesis

Vascular Interventions : RotoPro, AngioVac, FlowTriever

Mechanical Support : ECMO, Impella , IABP , ProtekDuo , LVAD

Structural Heart Procedures : CardioMEMS, PFO / ASD / VSD closure, Valvuloplasty, ASA

Licenses & Certifications (Required) :

Active NY RN License (No compact accepted)

BLS – AHA only

ACLS – AHA only

Telemetry and Dysrhythmia monitoring proficiency

Moderate Sedation training required

Preferred :

Cardiovascular Certification or RCES

Familiarity with EP procedures , devices, and ablation support

EP Lab experience is a strong plus
