Responsibilities
This position serves as a vital operational and administrative liaison within the Commercial Banking division. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all phases of the commercial loan documentation and closing process. The Specialist partners closely with Commercial Bankers, Loan Operations, Legal Counsel, and external stakeholders to drive exceptional client service, mitigate risk, and uphold operational efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities :
Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
Strategic Value :
This position directly supports revenue-generating loan activity and plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank’s legal and regulatory posture. By ensuring timely execution and document integrity, the Commercial Lending & Administrative Specialist helps reduce risk exposure, improve client satisfaction, and support strategic banking objectives.
Ancillary Duties :
As an integral member of the Commercial Banking Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals. This position is also expected to maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, as well as ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in an accordance with government compliance timely fashion.
