Our North Texas office is expanding, and we are seeking a driven Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Engineer to join our team. This role blends in-office collaboration with on-site client support and requires local travel.

About the Role

The Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Engineer is responsible for the implementation of control systems and DCS / PLC / SCADA programming. This includes knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Industrial Control Systems / IT, specializing in design, development, programming, integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up and control system optimization. The Sr. ICS Engineer is expected to be a technical lead on projects, providing guidance to less experienced engineers and supporting their professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Experience in more than one of the following areas is preferred but not required :

• Program and configure PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of automated equipment.
• Develop software / hardware design specifications.
• Design, write, test and document PLC / HMI software.
• Create Control Narratives, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, and Network Diagrams.
• Develop and execute control system validation / testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot, test, and start-up control systems onsite.
• Participate in site visits and meetings as required by project.
• Consult with clients to ensure project success.
• Interact with project managers / team leads, clients, and other third parties.
• Mentor other I&C Consultants / Engineers.
