As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine security-related patrols, remain highly visible to help deter potential incidents, and respond promptly to any situations as they arise. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order at the location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, remaining alert to any unusual activity or potential threats.

Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit of individuals, helping to deter unauthorized access.

Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal's protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary during incidents at the government location.

Maintain a visible and professional presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License.

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

Possess proof of graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
