Application Engineer
The ideal candidate with have a Mechanical Engineering degree with a couple of years of experience in a highly technical engineering or technical sales support role centered around rotating equipment / turbomachinery.
My client is a leading industrial manufacturing company and is looking for a technically minded individual to support the sales team in better understanding customer needs.
My client has a global presence and is constantly growing within their niche specialty. This specific division supplies turbomachinery / rotating equipment to the traditional oil & gas, power generation and hydrogen / carbon industries.
Responsibilities :
- Support sales team in technical / engineering aspects
- Determine customers' technical requirement and assist in offering solutions
- Select specific products that will meet customer specifications
- Attend technical clarification meetings
- Work closely with factory team and prepare documentation for manufacturing execution
- Communicate with vendors
- Travel up to 10% internationally
Qualification :
- Mechanical Engineer Degree from four-year accredited college / university
- 2 years' experience working with pump, compressors, turbines or parts of this equipment
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Time management skills
- Ability to work in office or from home
