We are seeking and experienced QA Laboratory Technician to join our growing organziation. Successful candidate should be able to thrive in a fast paced laboratory, with the ability to prioritize and communicate with multiple departments. To be considered, candidates must have expreience with HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, and other wet chemistry techniques. This is a 3rd shift position with hours Sunday-Thursday 9pm-6am.
Summary : The Quality Laboratory Technician performs routine analyses of materials and blends for use in finished products.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Follows standard operating procedures and other controlled documents as outline by the IKI Quality Manual
- Analyze incoming chemicals and incoming materials
- Analyze blends in-process and finished products
- Enter data into computer
- Analyze line and tank flushes
- Calibrate instruments
- Coordinate testing to ensure timely flow of production
- Prepare lab samples
- Obtain re-samples when necessary
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures
- Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's in Chemistry preferredPrevious experience in a laboratory settingLaboratory experience with HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, and other wet chemistry techniques requiredWork Environment : Laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals. Proper PPE must be worn, and safety precautions must be followed.
Physical Demands : Stands 75%, sits 25%, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
