Ad Tech Platform Operations Specialist

What You'll Do

As an Ad Tech Platform Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key operational liaison, ensuring the seamless performance of Viant's products, including our Demand Side Platform (DSP). You will bridge cross-functional internal teams—Operations, Product, and Engineering—with external stakeholders and third-party partners. Your core responsibility is to maintain operational continuity through clear communication, technical insight, and a strong sense of urgency when addressing problems, challenges, and opportunities.

This role requires a proactive approach to identifying root causes, facilitating resolutions, and driving alignment across multiple teams. You will own day-to-day technical operations, lead troubleshooting efforts, and support campaign and platform stability. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is a clear communicator, and demonstrates task leadership by translating customer and business needs into actionable solutions.

The day-to-day

• Serve as the connective point between internal teams (e.g., Ad Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners, driving the resolution of technical issues and ensuring reliability of the DSP platform.
• Execute and manage publisher integrations and third-party partner certifications to ensure compliance and system compatibility.
• Provide second-level QA and platform support, ensuring escalated issues are thoroughly documented and addressed with urgency.
• Drive cross-functional projects that enhance platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary

$60,000 – $70,000 a year

In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
