Newly renovated 24 bed neurosurgical unit. Patient Population include : Post op craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs or tumor resection; cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery.

This unit is also part of comprehensive stroke program caring for a variety of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients. As part of the ANII program (Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute) our patients receive the latest new innovative surgical techniques.

Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
