What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, loss prevention issues, and other security-related concerns.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

Work collaboratively with store personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

An Armed Guard Card or License is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
