Superintendent Job

As a Superintendent, you will coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the project progresses smoothly and remains on schedule. You will oversee the quality of work, ensuring it meets expectations, while maintaining clear communication with the project team regarding changes, questions, and material approvals.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure subcontractors adhere to their scope and commitments.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with local agencies as needed.
• Proactively identify and address safety or environmental issues.
• Detect construction conflicts early and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
• Maintain a daily log of job site activities.
• Follow up to ensure resolution of flagged issues by the team.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs to assess progress and assist in planning.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with subcontractors to ensure alignment.
• Identify quality or scheduling problems and collaborate with subcontractors to resolve them.
• Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and safe.
• Create and manage punch lists to ensure proper project wrap-up.

Work Environment :

The position is based onsite full-time at construction projects in Madison, IN, with immediate start. The role requires travel to various sites, with the opportunity to return home every other weekend. The projects primarily involve multi-family construction.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sellersburg, Indiana with travel to Madison, IN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $62.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
