About Team Recovery : Team Recovery is an addiction treatment center dedicated to supporting individuals affected by substance use and mental health disorders. Job Summary : The Recovery Housing Supervisor is responsible for the support and monitoring of clients while in the program, as well as ensuring the physical environment is safe and clean. This person provides milieu management and ensures safety of individuals or groups in an addiction withdrawal management program.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Monitors housing resident behavior and provides support and guidance through the recovery process.
  • Remind clients of the program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions promptly and appropriately.
  • Performs rounds at all properties and all clients, including hourly checks on Ambulatory clients.
  • Performs room and unit inspections, as well as property and medication inspections for new admissions and existing residents.
  • Prepares for new admissions, cleaning, preparing rooms and beds, and doing house laundry.
  • Assumes responsibility for incoming calls to the housing phone and addresses situations that arise via that communication outlet.
  • Responsibly handles crisis and / or behavioral situations as they arise and contact and follow the proper chain of commands to report when necessary.
  • Collects urine samples when instructed by the Housing Coordinator or Housing Director (not permitted for client-staff at any point during their treatment).
  • Assist in the management of maintenance requests and ensuring property is maintained in a safe, working condition.
  • Driving company vehicle(s), including multi-passenger vans to transport clients to and from the treatment center and other locations deemed necessary for treatment activities.
  • Lead by example at all times, maintaining the value system and abiding by the living agreement of TR Housing, even when not on the clock.
  • Report incidents and complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner, and give all documentation to the appropriate Director. Report to the Director of Recovery Housing or Chief Operating Officer for all emergencies and / or concerns.
  • Participate in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.
  • Communicate with other employees as necessary to promote quality client care.
  • Interact appropriately with clients and employees, showing them respect. Always maintain professionalism and establish and maintain strict professional boundaries with other clients and employees. Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to promptly and effectively manage situations with clients and employees. Remain in compliance with the Living Agreements when not on the clock (especially pertaining to client-staff role).
  • Be proficient and up to date on ethical policies, HIPAA, and 42 CFR regarding providing services in a behavioral health and SUD treatment environment (especially pertaining to a client-staff role).
  • Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with the organization's privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with the organization's policies and procedures on client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
  • May access protected health information (PHI) and other client information only to the extent that is necessary to complete your job duties. The incumbent may only share such information with those who have a need-to-know specific patient information you have in your possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other company operations.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training as scheduled to provide input towards program development and staff training.
  • Must follow all defined company policies outlined in the Team Recovery Ohio, LLC Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding company policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
  • Other tasks / duties unrelated or related to Housing (administrative and operational duties) as assigned to you by your Director or another Department Director.
  • Initiate Compliance Reports and Behavioral Agreements with clients who need behavioral redirection and appropriately document those notifications.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members.
  • Keep open communications with the BHT team for questions and feedback on their job duties and performance.
  • Assist with providing the Recovery Housing Manager and the DOH with information about the job performance of the BHT's to be added to their performance evaluation.
  • Organize the days admissions on the bed board and provide direction to the technicians regarding placement of the new admissions, processing of their property and setting up their files.
  • Keep an inventory of the Food Bank and make regular orders to Seagate while coordinating the pick up of those items.
  • Report all maintenance requests and keep open communication with the Facilities Manager regarding the maintenance needs of the properties.
  • Observe residents for potential signs of relapse or recurrence of symptoms and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate recovery support services or clinical interventions when necessary.
  • Conducting daily check-ins with residents to support their ongoing recovery, assess well-being, and foster a supportive living environment.

Education Requirements : High School Diploma or GED

License Requirements :

  • CPR / BLS certification required, will train upon hire.
  • Prefer a valid CDCA license, but not required.
  • Prefer CPI training, but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, be 21 years or older, and be deemed insurable through Team Recovery's insurance carrier.
  • Experience Requirements : Minimum 1 year in behavioral health or SUD treatment.
