Cloud Governance Director

A company is looking for a Cloud Governance Director responsible for establishing a Cloud FinOps practice to optimize cloud costs and ensure financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of a FinOps strategy and maintain a cloud financial management framework

Collaborate with teams to manage cloud costs, identify savings opportunities, and drive expense transparency

Own and maintain the cloud governance platform, develop reporting capabilities, and educate teams on cloud cost management

Required Qualifications

7 or more years of applicable experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure and AWS

Proficiency in data analysis and tools like SQL; experience with BI platforms

At least 5 years of experience in finance, operations, or IT, with a focus on cloud financial management
