About the role :
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in fintech to join our dynamic team. The Onboarding product team develops and owns critical applications and services that power the registration, underwriting, and activation of partners and merchants on to our platform.
As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our onboarding product strategy.
From ideation to launch and beyond, you will drive initiatives that enhance our onboarding experience, improve user satisfaction, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our onboarding experiences, aligning with overall business objectives and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the payments landscape. Utilize insights to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market demand, and business impact.
- Own the product roadmap for our onboarding products, effectively communicating priorities, timelines, and milestones to stakeholders across the organization.
- Oversee risk management initiatives related to merchant registration, ensuring our products meet regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Define KPIs, track performance metrics, and analyze user data to continuously optimize our onboarding experiences and drive improvements
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, to gather feedback, validate ideas, and drive alignment on product initiatives.
Requirements :
- 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on payments or financial technology (fintech) products.
- Proven track record of successfully leading the end-to-end development and launch of financial service products or features.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in maneuvering through complex environments and converting obstacles into solutions that scale effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities. Experience with A / B testing, user research, and product analytics tools preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
