Inventory Control I - Dallas
Responsible for pulling, transferring and transporting raw material and finished goods within the facility. New hired or transferred employees are expected to perform this job to standard within 2 weeks. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Inventory & Production Responsible for the pulling, staging and return of raw materials and finished goods between storage areas and production areas. Responsible for accurately and electronically moving ATC approved products via the AS400 through the use of a handheld scanner. Responsible for moving those products via a fork lift or other machine to the appropriate locations in the warehouse. Responsible for assisting Inventory Control with the accuracy and organization of all ATC products within the warehouse. Safety and Equipment Responsible for the careful use of all company equipment and property. Responsible for reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor, or the maintenance department. Responsible for performing duties in such a way to ensure the safety of ones self and ones co-workers. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months of previous forklift experience. Must be certified to use a forklift truck according to OSHA guidelines. (Certification is provided on site) Previous RF transaction experience Familiarity with cycle counts Must be able to operate a pallet mover and a shrink wrap machine Basic math skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Ability to occasionally carry, push or pull objects weighing up and including 50 pounds. Able to ambulate and stand for a full shift. Manual dexterity to perform keyboard functions.
