Principal Product Manager (Mortgage Products)

Description

The Principal Product Manager is responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path of both current and future CoreLogic products as well as being engaged in the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases.

The specific focus of this role is management of the mortgage Fraud Solutions portfolio of products. This includes new product conception, definition, launch, and post-launch activities, including increasing the profitability of existing products.

Other responsibilities include managing products and services through the development cycle as well as working with and influencing sales, marketing, finance, analytics, operations, implementation and product development, and senior management to achieve revenue and profit goals.

The Principal, Product Manager provides end-to-end management support for multiple products requiring long-term decision making.

Job Responsibilities :

Responsibility for a portfolio of fraud detection / prevention products

Build solid, data driven, business plans and strategies.

Identify product enhancements to balance a favorable ROI with customer needs.

Expand analytic offerings utilizing data assets available throughout CoreLogic.

Suggest and drive strategic partnerships for products.

Ensure delivery of innovation and customer value through product development process.

Determine clear prioritization and appropriate trade-offs regarding implementation issues based upon understanding constraints, dependencies, costs, resources, and customer benefits.

Formulate, document, and communicate tactical, actionable requirements for product development.

Work with prospects, customers, and partners to define product requirements and functionality.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure product delivery and quality.

Job Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work / industry experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Strong experience with the mortgage origination and fulfillment process

Experience in high-tech business, product and / or program management.

Experience with the full lifecycle of product management.

Strong technical background and project / program management skills

Experience with analytic, machine learning / AI, and / or big data products is highly desirable.

Demonstrated success setting strategy and executing in a matrixed organization required.

Ability to conduct and lead project meetings and track progress against stated strategies and timetables.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide industry thought leadership.

Presentation skills to present to and persuade large and diverse audiences.

8 years of mortgage, financial services, or product management experience

Experience with fraud controls, investigation for financial services, and / or mortgage-specific fraud risk skills preferred.

Annual Pay Range :

110,500 - 155,000 USD
