National Director of Development

The National Director of Development position at our client involves leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support bereavement camps for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the NDD will oversee fundraising channels such as special events, annual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and grants. The NDD will also mentor a team of development professionals and collaborate with key stakeholders to align fundraising goals with the organization's mission.

The NDD will be responsible for developing and executing a robust fundraising strategy that supports the mission and strategic objectives of our client. This includes cultivating relationships with donors, partners, corporations, foundations, and family offices, as well as overseeing fundraising events and managing corporate partnerships. The NDD will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure fundraising efforts align with the organization's goals and values.

Our client operates bereavement camps across the United States, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to process their grief and connect with others facing similar challenges.
