Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Pre / Post (Full-Time) (36hrs)

Position Summary : The Pre / Post CNA , provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and medical staff and an orthopedic surgical center. This role is responsible for assisting patients before surgery, monitoring and comforting them post-operatively, and ensuring a smooth recovery process. The CNA will uphold high standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while delivering compassionate care. Varied shifts between 5 : 00am - 7 : 00pm

Position Requirements

Education : High School Education or GED required.

Licensure : Registered with the State of Nebraska as CNA required.

Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 90 days of hire.

Experience :

• Prior Nurse Assistant experience preferred.
• 1+ year customer service work in a health care setting preferred.

Essential Job Functions

Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
