LOCATION : Bloomfield, Connecticut

BASE RATE PER HOUR : $31.00

SHIFT : 1st

HOURS : Generally, starts as early as 5am with overtime on an as needed basis based on business needs. Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays. Good attendance and punctuality required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily QA factory audit and process verification (CTQ and PC procedures)
• First point of contact to respond to all Food Safety and Quality incidents on off shifts
• Track and process finished product holds and dispositions using SAP warehouse inventory management system.
• Process vendor non-conformances in SAP
• Assist with analytical testing.
• Support the environmental swab program and laboratory testing.
• Analytical Instruments and Equipment verification, maintenance & calibration
• Verification of records (FS Process Controls, Quality Points, etc.)
• Filing and management quality records
• Maintain electronic quality data, support in trending and analyzing data.
• Daily product evaluation setup and lead product evaluation.
• Support quality and food safety training
• Other duties as assigned to support all QA Dept. roles in managing Food Safety and Quality systems

Compensation and Benefits : The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $31.00.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
