Landmark Medical Center is a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, RI. The hospital has been "A" rated for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group and has received numerous Healthgrades awards for patient safety excellence, heart care, and orthopedics. Originally known as the "Woonsocket Hospital," Landmark Medical Center has been serving the communities of northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts since 1873.

Full Time

3 : 00 - 11 : 30pm

Every other weekend

Responsibilities

Implements security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual public safety / security officer rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Establishes guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. Driving as needed for company business.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required

2. One (1) year experience in a lead security position preferred.

3. State Guard Certification / Card required

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below) :

1. State Driver's license upon hire

2. Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report
