AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support customer engagement and drive growth across our markets. This role serves as the technical counterpart to the sales team, helping customers understand how our solutions meet their needs—from initial presentations through deployment planning. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable navigating both technical and business conversations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams as the primary technical resource in customer engagements
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored solution proposals
• Build trust through clear, honest, and technically sound guidance
• Design system architectures and deployment strategies customized to each customer
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations
• Prepare proposals, diagrams, and supporting technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams (Service Enablement, Delivery, Assurance) to align solutions with capabilities
• Provide field feedback to improve products and go-to-market strategies
• Support smooth handover to delivery teams post-contract
• Contribute to building scalable processes, templates, and best practices
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

Education :

Experience :

A minimum of 5 years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant role, preferably in telecom, networking, or related industries
