Job Responsibilities

• Patient Verification : Ensure accuracy by verifying test requisitions against nursing station logs and addressing discrepancies with facility personnel.
• Safe Transportation : Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as per management guidelines.
• Specimen Collection : Perform venipunctures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Specimen Integrity : Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain specimen quality.
• Tracking & Documentation : Accurately document collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection.
• Compliance & Safety : Adhere to legal and industry standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
• Data Entry : Utilize laboratory information systems to input sample acquisition details.
• Professionalism : Uphold company reputation by maintaining a high standard of service and professional conduct.
