They are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join their high-performance technology team. This role will focus on designing, scaling, and optimizing a complex Linux-based environment that underpins all trading, research, and development operations. Youll collaborate closely with software engineers, network specialists, and trading teams to deliver low-latency, high-availability systems that perform under pressure.

Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance Linux systems supporting large-scale trading and research environments.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and tune systems for optimal performance, stability, and low latency.
- Automate system configuration, deployment, and management using modern tools and scripting languages.
- Collaborate with development and network engineering teams to identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Manage and evolve system security, patching, and compliance across global data centers.
- Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, and operational resilience through metrics, alerting, and automation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response to ensure continuous uptime of mission-critical systems.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience administering and engineering Linux-based systems in high-performance or low-latency environments.Strong scripting and automation experience with tools such as Python, Bash, or Ansible.Proven experience with system performance tuning, kernel-level debugging, and troubleshooting distributed systems.Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and virtualization technologies.Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, routing, multicast, firewalls) and their impact on system performance.Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
