We currently have a need for a Survey Instrument Person in Mineola, NY.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating equipment
  • Recording data
  • Assisting Survey Party Chief
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Data reduction and calculations
  • Safety compliance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a survey instrument person
  • Familiarity with surveying instruments and techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and adapt to changing field conditions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform calculations related to surveying
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment. Compensation : $50,000 - $60,000.  The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
