As well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING : Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.One to three months of related mechanical experience and / or training.Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.Good balance on slippery surfaces.Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Key ResponsibilitiesYOUR DAY-TO-DAY : Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments.Coordinate with team members to diagnose problems and repair equipment.Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Perform preventable maintenance on equipment as required.Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction.Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
