Senior Visualization Engineer - Secret clearance

We are currently seeking a Senior Visualization Engineer with an active Secret clearance as part of an ongoing contract in Washington, DC.

This is a full-time, hybrid role three (3) days on-site two (2) days remote AFTER TRAINING.

Please note : Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and have an active Secret clearance.

The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.

The Senior Visualization Engineer will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain visualization solutions for government and commercial clients.

They will be responsible for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to develop interactive and immersive visualizations that support data analysis, decision-making, and communication.

Primary Duties :

• Design and develop interactive visualization solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess visualization needs, and develop innovative solutions that meet user objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on visualization best practices, tools, and techniques.
• Conduct user testing and feedback sessions to refine visualization designs and improve usability.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in visualization, recommending innovative solutions to enhance data analysis and decision-making processes.

Qualifications include :

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data visualization or related field.
• Experience with designing and developing interactive visualization solutions.
• Proficiency in visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred certifications / education :

Relevant certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate.
