Key Responsibilities
Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and submittal documents to complete installations accurately.
Assemble and install pipe systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using a variety of techniques (e.g., soldering, brazing, cementing, ProPress, etc.).
Conduct pressure tests using water or air to detect leaks and verify system integrity.
Review all project plans for compliance with local plumbing codes and ADA requirements.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required specifications using hand tools and power equipment.
Mark pipe locations and cut openings in walls, floors, or ceilings as needed for installations.
Install underground water, storm, and sanitary systems and connect piping systems to fixtures and equipment.
Install plumbing systems in all environments : below grade, at floor level, overhead, and outdoors.
Install medical gas systems where certified.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite while following all health and safety standards.
Collaborate with coworkers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Follow site-specific safety protocols and prioritize safety at all times.
Communicate with building personnel and site supervisors prior to starting work.
Understand and apply construction terms and practices relevant to the plumbing trade.
Possess knowledge of the piping systems being installed (e.g., sanitary, storm, domestic water, steam, condensate).
Read submittals to properly rough-in for carriers, fixtures, and equipment.
Work at various heights using ladders, scaffolds, and man lifts.
Work in excavated trenches and outdoor conditions.
Perform multiple tasks while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Willing to work overtime as required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation to job sites within the company's service area.
Must supply and maintain personal hand tools as listed in the company's plumbing tool list.
Maintain confidentiality and represent the company in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds frequently. Employees must perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Employees must also be able to work at various heights, in trenches, and in outdoor conditions. All manual material handling must comply with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize the risk of injury.
