Manager, Revenue Accounting

Details :

The Revenue Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for all of the revenue accounting supporting an operating division including : planning and organizing staff assignments, reviewing and approving accounting entries and revenue distribution, accounts receivable collection and monitoring, analyzing accounting results and reviewing financial statements, variance analysis, monitoring forecast, reviewing various marketing contracts and lease agreements, the coordination of monthly close with other departments, account reconciliations, reviewing and responding to requests from management, outside owners and other groups and handling special projects.

Knowledge of gas balancing, pipeline imbalances, gas plant accounting, division of interest maintenance and handling of royalty owner inquiries is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Details :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution, in Accounting or related business field, including core accounting classes relevant to the position, is required. CPA designation is a plus.
• 8-10 years upstream exploration & production accounting work experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently, in a lead, supervisory role and to communicate / interact effectively with various departments and accounting personnel.
• Aptitude to suggest and implement process improvements to increase effectiveness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing and heavily active organization.
• Self-motivated with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to team development.
• Knowledge of SQL, AS 400 system and MS Query is a plus.

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
