Sr Analyst of (Brand Marketing) Business Operations
Sr Analyst of (Brand Marketing) Business Operations is responsible for performing ongoing marketing costs reconciliations to help identify and manage risks to the business. This position supports planning and execution of investments across marketing plan of record. This role will actively participate alongside the business operations team throughout monthly forecast and close. The individual in this role will gain broad exposure to our businesses and processes. Work collaboratively and independently to reconcile supplier and marketing spend across operational, financial, regulatory and / or technology areas across the company. Ensure fast-paced marketing production processes operate efficiently and effectively. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline.
Core Responsibilities
- Manages day to day expense tracking within fast paced marketing and advertising business group while processing within company policies and procedures.
- Supports fast paced marketing and advertising production needs with high volume time sensitive transactions.
- Analyzes planned vs actuals and quickly grasp opportunity and / or risk areas for remediation.
- Reviews and analyzes forecasts and recommends changes where appropriate. Updates forecasts with new developments to provide management with a current perspective of the business.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing business and in house agency partners, finance, accounting, purchasing and shared services.
- Provides training and education to team members on financial tools to improve financial performance, including Fusion, Incorta, and eSIRT.
- Executes aspects of the standard purchase order process, which includes execution and reporting out to business management.
- Prepares clear and well-organized purchase order, invoicing, and spend reconciliations documenting work performed and summaries.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement to tools and training.
- Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
