Accounting Clerk
Our client, a highly reputable and established law firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their dynamic team.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will work closely with the Accounting Department and be responsible for handling various accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and data entry.
The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and proficient knowledge of Excel. Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately process and record all financial transactions in a timely manner
- Prepare invoices and assist with collections efforts when necessary
- Review and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Manage accounts payable by ensuring bills are paid on time
- Maintain accurate financial records by organizing receipts, invoices, and other documents
- Assist with month-end close procedures as directed by senior accounting staff
- Provide support to the team in preparing financial reports as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is required; prior experience in legal or professional services industry is considered a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience working with accounting software such as Quickbooks is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records is a must.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
