This position is located in Terra Bella, CA
- Our multi-faceted family of agricultural companies is in search of a self-directed and experienced Controller / Senior Accountant to oversee all daily financial, accounting, reporting and human resources activities.
- Responsible for grower accounting, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, financial reporting, general ledger account analysis & classification and governmental filings as needed.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work place, and is well-versed in working closely with senior management.
- The position will also require the ability to negotiate pricing / contracts with select vendors as needed and handle ad-hoc projects as well
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Accounting designation CPA PREFERRED
- Minimum 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
