GA Plant Electrician, Facilities, Electrical Repair, DAY SHIFT
We are currently looking for a plant / facilities Electrician / Electrical Technician for our production / manufacturing facility located in central Savannah, GA location.
Shift days : Monday through Friday, Some weekends as needed which will be OT
Shift hours : First / Day shift, starting approx 7am
Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Plant Electrician to join our team in Savannah, GA. The Plant Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all electrical systems throughout the plant and facilities, as well as installing, designing, and wiring all electrical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical systems, including circuit breakers, and AC / DC drives.
- Design, layout, and install all electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on all electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues using appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Maintain and repair facilities electrical systems.
- Bend and install conduit.
- Make sure all electrical installations comply with local codes and industry standards.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of wiring diagrams and AC / DC drives.
- Working knowledge of electrical controls and troubleshooting.
- One, or more, years of experience in industrial maintenance electrician.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces.
