UBAEL is looking for a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our buildings, outdoor spaces, and parking lots.

This position involves performing a variety of general maintenance tasks, supporting seasonal landscaping efforts, and coordinating with external vendors and contractors to ensure all work meets UBAEL’s standards.

Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is a plus, especially during peak seasonal periods. While not required, bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Compensation : $16 - $19 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Inspecting and maintaining facilities, equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, tree trimming, fertilizing, weed control, pest control, and irrigation.
• Maintaining fish & fishpond.
• Remove / replace / repair fencing as needed.
• Purchase needed supplies such as paint, filters, and materials.
• Responsibly operate all equipment (no large machinery).
• Contact vendors as needed for outside repairs.
• Maintain water softeners and filter replacement schedule.
• Assist with event setup / teardown.
• Ordering / changing of air filters and light bulbs.
• Cleaning and Painting.
• Occasional Wood / metal work.
• Assist with Seasonal Decorations.
• Minor Electrical / plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Take out trash cans & recycling.
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Tracking and recording all purchases and supplier contact information.
