SRE Specialist

Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an intermediate SRE Specialist to join our MIS operation team. We are managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top priority. Job Responsibilities

• Linux System Administration :

Administer Linux servers across distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL).

Monitor performance metrics of servers, storage, VMs, containers, applications, and network components to ensure optimal operation.

Apply the latest security updates to the server infrastructure and conduct routine vulnerability scan to proactively identify and address potential security issues.

Leverage SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) solution to track, prioritize, and resolve security issues reported by the Security team.

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, especially Fortinet products such as FortiSwitch, FortiGate, FortiManager, and related devices.

Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines, automating the build, testing, and deployment of the Internet services using tools like Ansible, SaltStack and Terraform.

Provide on-call support for critical services to ensure high availability.

Educational Requirement

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,200- $155,500. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
