Contract Duration - 3 months / W2

About the Role :

We’re hiring a Collections & Cash Application Specialist to join our client in the manufacturing industry. This position blends collections and cash application responsibilities — perfect for someone who enjoys managing customer accounts, reconciling payments, and supporting a fast-paced B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Apply and reconcile customer payments accurately and on time.
• Conduct daily collection calls to customers and sales representatives.
• Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts, including national and high-profile clients.
• Collaborate with Sales and Management teams to resolve short pays, pricing, and freight issues.
• Analyze aging and unapplied cash reports to maintain AR accuracy.
• Evaluate and monitor customer credit exposure; assign appropriate credit limits.
• Provide regular updates on collection progress to management.
