Nursing Home Consulting Company is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. We provide consulitng services to skilled nursing facilities in several states nationwide.
We focus on advising and assisting the facilities to maintain an exemplary relationship and high standard of care for both employees and residents.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will need to be able to communicate with vendors, facilities, supervisors and peers to ensure good working relationships.
The position will oversee payable entries, coding, review AP aging’s, statements, weekly check runs, etc. This position will include strong decision making, leadership skills, and the ability to analyze information.
Applicant should be self-motivated, energetic and able to manage priorities. Five plus years of Accounts Payable experience is desired and preferably in long term care industry
Job Description :
Ø Posting of invoices to accounts payable system daily.
Ø Print checks or prepare for check runs.
Ø Attention to details and strong organizational skills required
Ø Assists in monthly close
Ø Reconciles vendor statements
Ø Fast paced environment
Ø Processing invoices weekly
Ø Verifying expense reports
Ø Analyzing invoices
Ø Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Job Requirements :
Ø Knowledge of accounts payable
Ø Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting procedures
Ø Knowledge of Procurement Partners & Point Click Care (PCC) Proficiency mandatory.
Ø Intermediate to advanced excel including pivots, lookups etc.
Ø Proficient in data entry and management
Ø Job Type : Full-time and remote
