Electronic Engineering / Quality Assurance
Noblis MSD is seeking candidates for Electronic Engineering / Quality Assurance to support the Naval Information Warfare Center, Network Integration Engineering Facility (NIEF). The Associates will be responsible for the inspections and reviews of the various networks, programs, and communication systems for the NIEF. This includes but not limited to : the quality assurance and the quality control of all incoming, in process, and final delivery systems, to provide the highest level of quality products to our customers. The Associates will also develop and review reports and statuses for all quality related encounters.
This is a full time / on-site position in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the coordination and the completion of tasks assigned, and duties specific to the NIEF QA team.
- Read and understand engineering drawings for quality inspections.
- Maintain compliance with standards of the NIEF quality management system (QMS) for ISO 9001 : 2015
- Assist in the initiation and resolution of quality inspections to include deviations, out of specification determinations and out of tolerance determinations.
- Uses configuration management tool (CMPro) for the generation, tracking, creation and closing of work orders.
- Inspect IUID labels and following the IUID requirements.
- Maintain a high level of quality awareness through on-the-job training and other required training.
- Responsible for the review, assessment, tracking, and follow-up, as well as the completion of quality inspections, investigations, CAPA, risk assessments, and other action items.
- Update databases as needed and provide and prepare weekly metrics to team lead.
- Identify and communicate trending and reoccurring issues and quality events to the team lead.
- Follow all applicable regulations, including ISO and company policies, procedures, and standards to provide the highest level of quality products.
Required Qualifications
Required Experience :
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience or High School Diploma with 6+ years of experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. (Must obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start).1-2 years of QA experience.Must be a US citizen.Required Skills :
Basic knowledge and skill set for using mechanical tools.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Desired Qualifications
Active Secret clearance desired.Familiarity with C4l installation fields concepts, practices, and procedures.Familiarity with the defense communication system projects to include quality assurance, quality control, and risk management.Implementing good documentation practices (GDP).Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a team environment.Must have strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Must possess the ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple functional areas in a government environment.Flexibility of schedule and the ability to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet on time deliveries.Be able to work effectively in a high paced environment.Flexibility to switch tasking focus when needed.Knowledge of current Naval or DOD installation processes, practices, and proceduresKnowledge of mechanical and / or electrical industry skillsets
