Role Purpose
Oversee the daily clinical operations for BJCs Capacity Management Center. Uphold the importance of delivering standardized and reliable care for the clients in our community. Implement processes to ensure effective and efficient Capacity Management Center operations. Collaborate closely with the Program Manager for the Capacity Management Center to ensure adequate staff to meet demands. Be flexible and meet the ever-changing demands of healthcare. Be forward thinking and able to change course quickly as system needs arise.
Responsibilities
Partner with HSO house supervisors and those responsible for daily capacity management activities across the system to understand needs and assist with problem solving. Work with Program Manager to develop and implement recommendations for standardized processes / procedures. Monitor outcomes and adjust as needed to meet the clinical and operational demands. Be customer centric and provide consultation with unit and HSO-based leaders regarding Capacity Management issues as they arise. Direct the delivery of safe and appropriate care through evidence-based practice, national benchmarks, monitoring of quality / safety measures / audits to achieve quality outcomes. Manage individuals including onboarding and hiring, training, workload management, & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensure that the productivity and actions of that group meet / support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and / or expense budgets. Respond to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Support and assist the growth of existing and new workforce management technologies and processes. Maintain comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards as well as of the changing business environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Bachelors Degree - Nursing
Experience : 5-10 years
Supervisor Experience : 2-5 years
Licenses & Certifications : RN
Preferred Requirements
Education : Masters Degree - Nursing
