Pay Rate : $23 / hr.–$25 / hr.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM–5 : 00 PM (30-min lunch) or 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (1-hr lunch)

Overview :

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support a fast-paced finance department for a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and has solid AP experience, particularly in managing high volumes of invoices and resolving billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities :

Accurately process a high volume of invoices (department averages 30,000 / month)

Review billing summaries and identify issues (e.g., missing start / end dates, incomplete info)

Retrieve bills from various internal platforms (e.g., utility billing systems)

Identify and verify disconnection or urgent notices to prevent service interruptions

Assist with month-end close and vendor reconciliations

Maintain accurate and organized records in line with company policy

Collaborate with internal departments for issue resolution and workflow continuity

Qualifications :

2–5 years of Accounts Payable experience required

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Familiarity with AP systems; experience with utility billing platforms (e.g., SCE) is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office Suite

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

No degree required, but candidates should present a professional demeanor consistent with corporate standards
