Inventory Control Associate

We're currently seeking an Inventory Control Associate to work for our client Johnson & Johnson Vision in Milpitas, CA. If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply! Duration : 1 year Pay Rate : $30.00 Shift Time : 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm

What's a typical day as an Inventory Control Associate? You'll be :

  • Auditing and cycle counting inventory to keep systems in balance, investigating inventory discrepancies during daily order processing.
  • Performing bin replenishment, material kitting, packaging, shipping, and receiving functions.
  • Reviewing and analyzing stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions and recommending a replenishment plan.
  • Processing rejected, expired, short dated, and returned products, supporting Quality and Manufacturing with material being destroyed, reworked, or quarantined.
  • Resolving orders on hold for inventory status.
  • Recommending improvements to the inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, credibility, or overall operation.
  • Updating inventory records.
  • Controlling inventory accuracy and controlling inventory levels by changing reorder points and par levels to meet changing demands.

Additional skills preferred :

  • MS Office knowledge, SAP, Outlook, and basic computer knowledge.
  • Good computer skills
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to communicate with Customer Service
  • Handle refunds
  • Decontaminate products
  • Handle bio-hazardous materials
  • Discard products, must be able to work under pressure
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Occasional overtime is requested to meet business needs.
