Do you enjoy providing exceptional customer service, being a true product expert as well as generating customer engagement and product demonstrations? At The Vermont County Store we are currently looking for an Assistant Retail Department Coordinator to aid the Team Lead in directing and coordinating activities on the sales floor related to personnel, merchandising, and inventory control.

Our original store is in the heart of Weston at : 657 Main Street, Weston, VT. This job is performed entirely in-person.

A Sampling of What You'll Do :

• Engage customers and employees in a personal way to ensure they have an exceptional shopping experience
• Be a true product expert and know all features and benefits of products for assigned departments
• Train new staff on operational and customer service procedures, retail systems, and merchandising plans
• Motivate and influence staff to come together in order to achieve outstanding results
• Develop and carry out ideas for customer engagement and product demonstrations
• Lead department in the absence of a department supervisor
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed
