Nursing Service Tech In Float Pool

Find your purpose by becoming a Nursing Service Tech in Float Pool at Rice Memorial Hospital! Summary : Perform routine treatment procedures as directed. Assist Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures. Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift. Complete all equipment set up as directed. Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient. Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patients nurse charge nurse or unit coordinator. Assist in accompanying patient in admission transfer and discharge procedures. Provide and assist with personal care as necessary such as bathing dressing etc. Assist with patient care such as positioning patient lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics etc. Under supervision perform general care activities for patients in isolation.

Schedule : 56 hours every 2 weeks. Rotating day evening and night shifts. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Pay and Benefits : Starting pay begins at 18.43 per hour and increases with experience. Pay range : 18.43 to 24.44 per hour. Qualifications : High school diploma or GED required. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
