JOB PURPOSE
JVM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Analyst Ⅱ to join our team and perform a full range of scientific services with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 (South Central) serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in serving as a scientific or technical resource.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
- Training users on how to appropriately utilize their computer systems.
- Writing instruction manuals for systems.
- Consulting with managers to determine what role the systems play in the business.
- Testing the systems on a regular basis to ensure quality and function.
- Preparing costs and benefits analysis on systems.
- Brainstorming new ways to add more functionality to systems.
- Choosing and configuring the hardware and software of a system.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
- Equivalent Experience with 5 years of experience in database development, programming, or other information technologies.
- Appropriate certifications, in database development, programming, or other information technologies.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
