Maintenance Control Manager

STS Technical Services is hiring a skilled Maintenance Control Manager for a direct hire position with a U.S.-based commercial airline in Denver, Colorado. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant daily maintenance operations across the fleet. This opportunity offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and eligibility for a 10% annual performance bonus. Position Overview : As Maintenance Control Manager, you will lead a team of Maintenance Controllers, drive operational excellence, and serve as the central point of contact for maintenance-related decision-making during assigned shifts. You’ll work closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure compliance and minimize downtime. Job Location : Location : Denver, Colorado Employment Type : Direct Hire Application Deadline : October 31, 2025, at midnight MT Key Responsibilities : Oversee and support Maintenance Control operations during assigned shifts Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal procedures Manage MEL / CDL / NEF authorization and control processes Assign tasks, approve overtime, and make operational decisions as needed Coordinate communication between departments on all maintenance issues Manage department scheduling, vacation approvals, absences, and payroll Maintain accurate documentation of One Time On-Call maintenance actions Review and correct data entries in FMIS and other tracking systems Conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement efforts Support reliability reporting and participate in performance meetings Administer and monitor team metrics, training, and performance reviews Required Qualifications : Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License Minimum 5 years of combined Line and / or Heavy Maintenance experience Minimum 2 years in a Maintenance Control position Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a maintenance environment Preferred Qualifications : Four-year college degree FCC Radio License Experience with Airbus A320 family aircraft Familiarity with FMIS and airline maintenance tracking systems Skills & Competencies : Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities Deep knowledge of airline maintenance operations and compliance standards Effective communicator with cross-functional team collaboration skills Highly organized with strong planning and follow-through abilities Compensation & Benefits : Competitive base salary $20,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days (prorated if employment ends before 12 months) Eligible for annual performance bonus (up to 20% based on performance) Full health benefits (medical, dental, vision) starting the 1st of the month after hire 401(k) with employer match Generous paid time off and holidays Travel perks and industry discounts Relocation assistance available About STS Technical Services : STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the biggest names in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial operations.
