Cellar Operator I - Littleton, CO Position : Cellar I Supervisor : Sr. Cellar on Duty, Cellar Manager, Brewmaster Division : Brewing  FLSA Status : Non-Exempt - Hourly Overview :

Reporting to Sr. Cellar on Duty, Cellar Manager and Brewmaster, The Cellar Team is responsible for green beer finishing, yeast handling, fermentation and beer conditioning. This is a physically and mentally intensive role that requires exceptional motivation, a team-oriented mentality, a true passion for craft beer, as well as scheduling flexibility. This position reports to the Cellar Manager but will also take direction from the Sr Cellar members and the Brewmaster. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Adhere to safety standards, and set an example of positive safe behavior
  • Adhere to quality standards and maintain a quality focused mindset
  • Green Beer finishing processes – Clarification, pasteurization and carbonation
  • CIP of process equipment – BBTs, FVs, centrifuge, pasteurizer
  • COP – parts soaking and organization
  • Cellar environment cleaning
  • Assist in and learn barrel filling and emptying
  • Assist in and learn dry hopping
  • Assist in and learn O’Beer PDO processing
  • Flexibility to cover shifts and work different hours, when needed
  • Flexibility to assist and cross-train in Brewhouse operations

Requirements :

  • Minimum high school education, >
  • 2 years college or associates degree preferred

  • 2 years’ Brewing experience or experience in a food a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of practices, methods, tools and equipment used on cold side process
  • Effective communication skills
  • Forklift Certified, or ability to obtain one soon after hiring
  • Must be able to work in hot / cold, wet and loud environment
  • Effective troubleshooting skills
  • Must be flexible to working early mornings and late nights and weekends
  • Regularly lift over 50 lbs, stoop, squat, pull hoses and operate tri-clamps all while maintaining a positive attitude
