A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to support the medical team and patients in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate patient enrollment and engagement in the Heart Failure Program and other care management programs
Manage telehealth scheduling and facilitate patient follow-up after hospital discharge
Provide patient-centric care, including medication reconciliation and coordinating lab tests and referrals
Required Qualifications and Background
Certified Medical Assistant through a recognized certification exam within one year of issuance
High school diploma or GED
At least 3 months of experience in a medical office setting preferred
Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
Basic knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures
