Director-Assistant III - University Advancement
The Division of University Advancement is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of external communications and all fundraising and friendraising activities, including alumni and family relations, church & community relations, as well as corporate and foundation relations. University Advancement is an integral part of the university's ministry and outreach. The University engages in annual and multi-year comprehensive campaigns supporting academic programs, capital projects, endowments, planned gifts and student aid. Vision 2025 and the Golden Eagle Athletics Initiative are two such initiatives.
The Director-Assistant III is responsible for developing donor relationships and solicitation strategies among mid-range annual donors and prospects and major gift prospects. Working with the Advancement team and select University staff and faculty, the Director-Assistant III will devise marketing strategies and outreach opportunities to attract mid-range and major gift prospects. They will place a major emphasis on the development and cultivation of new prospects and the stewardship of assigned donors. All activities of this position are to make a contribution to the fulfillment of the mission of the university. Must be available to travel and spend periods away from home and the office.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily :
Education and / or Experience : Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, master's preferred, and three to five years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Full Time Staff, Exempt
$78,500 - 87,000 / yr
