SUMMARY
The Donor Care Administrator role focuses on effective communication with donors and on maintaining an accurate database. They are the first point of contact for those reaching out to the department. They always represent the organization in a clear, caring, and encouraging way – spoken and written. They maintain a high degree of accuracy and all work is approached with a high-level customer service mindset.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs all data duties in accordance with established policies and procedures including but not limited to code structures and definitions, segmentations, queries, reports and statements.
- Conducts database and donation processing functions such as paper checks, credit and debit cards, bank donations, single or recurring gifts, and various forms of planned giving donations.
- Tracks all communication with donors in database software.
- Serves as first point of contact for donors via varied channels such as phone, email, hard copy letters, website chat, text message, and face to face.
- Listens to donors and prays with them (as requested) building relationships with them.
- Follows security procedures protecting donor personal protected information (PPI).
- Helps coordinate special donor projects.
- Represents the ministry in a clear, caring and encouraging way.
- Identifies issues and training opportunities for professional growth.
- Explores and recommends potential new processes, efficiencies and makes recommendations to the DCM.
- Assists department and Donor Care leadership with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Supports station activities on and off the premises.
- Contributes to the broader WGTS team effort to encourage our listeners to take one step closer to Christ.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.5 or more years of related work experience required.Demonstrated donor database administration (or CRM system) and proficiency, Blackbaud preferred.Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.Language Skills
Superior command of English grammar and spelling.Excellent verbal and written communication.Mathematical and Technology Skills
Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.Working knowledge and application of Microsoft 365, including Teams.Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.A demonstrated ability to lead others with proven ability to influence at all levels.The ability to work on a team and independently.An impeccable attention to detail and reliability.Physical Requirements
