Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Administrative Tax Associate. This is a hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA, in accordance with the Ferguson flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.

Responsibilities :

• Disseminate communication of information throughout the tax department (i.e. tax department meetings or functions).
• Retrieve data from information systems, such as invoices, tax exemption certificates, business licenses, etc. in support of government audits.
• Sort and distribute mail.
• Work on special projects as needed.
• Respond to requests from customers and vendors for copies of tax documents, such as W-9 forms, business licenses, sales tax exemption certificates, etc. and assist in maintaining the repository of such commonly requested forms.
• Research tax liens using the database of Ferguson's registered agent.
• Maintain a tracker of notices from taxing authorities.
• Update several tax forms yearly as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties and support for the tax department.
• Always represent the company in a professional manner.
• Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
• Work overtime as needed.

Pay Range : $15.58 - $25.39

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
