Main Responsibilities

  • Making outbound sales calls based on provided leads; reaching decision makers; qualifying the business
  • New account development
  • Post-sales support

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter who will focus on business development and account management within the OEMs and Tier 1 accounts, Experience selling the automotive industry is a must.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a discipline related to the position
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite
  • Experience working directly with the large OEMs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
  • Must be driven, sales oriented, and available to handle rejection with resilience
  • Dedicated and dependable; Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong math and technical skills
  • Willing to travel
  • Knowledge of machine tool, automation and / or vehicle general assembly preferred
