Summary of Job
The Foodservice Corporate Sales Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving national sales growth through direct engagement with top-tier foodservice distributors, including Sysco , US Foods , and Gordon Food Service . This position serves as the primary corporate liaison, representing the company in headquarter-level negotiations, joint business planning, and strategic initiatives aimed at expanding market share and strengthening distributor relationships.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute corporate sales strategies targeting major foodservice distributors.
- Conduct headquarters calls to influence distributor decision-makers and align on growth initiatives.
- Develop and manage annual business plans, promotional calendars, and performance reviews with distributor partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment on execution and service levels.
- Monitor distributor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and distributor conferences.
Education and Qualifications
Proven experience in foodservice sales, preferably with direct engagement at the corporate level with Sysco, US Foods, or Gordon Food Service.Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skillsStrategic thinker with a track record of delivering sales growth and managing complex accounts.Ability to travel as needed to distributor headquarters and key market locations.Culinary Experience preferred but not requiredBA Degree preferred but not requiredProficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
